Honeymoon idea to Padre Island?

We We're going on a honeymoon in April and instant messaging with the most difficult time find where they were originally not to go to Port Aransas, Texas, and can not to find and very nice hotel complex or suite I want. so I started watching his father on the island and found in several places, but Im not sure. so now I'm looking for ideas about what do to stay in Texas and want to go the beach …. any suggestion about it? none said nothing …. Father is better. I'm going on holiday in June. They are different things you can do there, riding the horse … Han Schlitterbahn water park, paragliding … any extras. There are many fun things to do well at night when you are beach. large amount of clubs and such things. This is not too far from Mexico … but this part of Mexico is not too pretty … and a little scary … so really It is not recommended!
